Schools Football Gets Big Boost Ahead of Season

The Ministry of Sports, more so the School Football Unit received a major donation on Wednesday morning ahead of the opening of the 2025 Interschool competition.

Director of Sports Heather Samuel-Daley was gifted 160 footballs from Joma Caribbean. The company has been a longstanding sponsor for school sports and sports overall in Antigua and Barbuda.

Samuel-Daley thanked Joma Caribbean and Cool and Smooth for their continued support.

The 2025 season will officially kick off tomorrow with a girls and boys knockout tournament at the ABFA Technical facility.

Matches will begin at 3pm.
