22-year-old Arrested After Stolen Van Crashes on Bendals Road

A 22-year-old Greenbay Resident is in police custody after a stolen vehicle crashed on Bendals Road during an attempted traffic stop.

Police reports say officers on mobile patrol spotted a Toyota van reported stolen from Potters on September 13. When officers attempted to stop the vehicle, the driver abandoned it while it was still moving.

The unattended van then collided with a parked car on the northern side of Bendals Road, causing damage to both vehicles.

The suspect fled on foot but was quickly apprehended by pursuing officers. No injuries were reported in the crash.

Authorities continue to investigate the incident, and charges are expected to be filed against the suspect.
