20 September 2025 - 09:57

The 2025 edition of the Cool and Smooth Business Basketball League will shoot off on Saturday night at the JSC Sports Complex.

Fourteen teams will vie for the regular season and playoff titles and knock off defending champions, Sandals

The league will open with a brief opening ceremony at 7pm.

Immediately following that, two games are on the cards.

Defending champs, Sandals will begin their quest for back-to-back titles as they face off against Corner Stone Builders and Maintenance in the first encounter of the double header evening.

In the feature encounter, former champions, Antigua and Barbuda Transport Board (ABTB) will battle title contenders, H Wright Promotions.

Games will play nightly at the JSC Sports Complex except for Fridays starting at 7.

All the teams will play each other in a round robin format. Based on their records the top 8 teams will advance to the playoffs.

This season promises to be an exciting one according to organizer Carl “Bowlie” Knight.  The former national player and sportsman of the year revealed that the All-Star day will also be making its return.

At the end of the season, an All-Star team will be chosen and will tour St. Lucia.
