Man Pleads Guilty to Cocaine Possession

A 39-year-old man entered a guilty plea to cocaine possession and will be sentenced next month following his arrest over the weekend.

Teshawn Lynch of All Saints appeared before Magistrate Ngaio Emanuel where he pleaded guilty to a possession charge. His sentencing has been scheduled for October 2nd.

The prosecution withdrew a second charge of possession with intent to transfer after Lynch entered a not guilty plea to that count.

Lynch was arrested over the weekend after police executed a search warrant at his residence and discovered 293.7 grams of crack cocaine. The search came after officers conducted a stop and search operation near Midway Gas Station last Friday, during which they found transparent bags containing cocaine concealed in Lynch’s underwear.

The initial discovery prompted officers to obtain a warrant for his home, where a subsequent search revealed a flask containing cocaine buried in his yard.
