Police are investigating a heated confrontation in Cassada Gardens after a man reported that his ex-girlfriend allegedly attacked the car he was driving, shattering the calm of a Sunday morning.

The incident reportedly unfolded around 8:30 a.m. on October 5, 2025, when the man claimed his former partner hurled two stones at a blue Toyota Yaris, damaging the vehicle during what appears to have been a tense exchange.

Officers from the Criminal Investigations Department were called to the scene, where they interviewed both individuals and recorded statements.

The car was later examined by forensic officers as part of the investigation.

While no injuries were reported, police say inquiries are ongoing into the fiery dispute that turned destructive in the usually quiet Cassada Gardens community.

    • My question why the police didn’t arrest the female is it because she’s a female

  2. We are so much immersed in US BS ghetto culture that we easily adopt asinine relations on dealing with relationships. Did the angry black woman destroy someone else’s vehcle, especially with malice aforethought? Then lock her to hell up! What mitigating circumstances could there be? The Law in Antigua is often dispensed leaving one to wonder whether we are a civilized society or mere jungle denizen!!

  5. Hmmmm sooooo what’s the story there

    • For persons making comments about the size of the brick/stone the picture of the article does not match the description of the damaged car. What she did was not the appropriate action, but which one of us (including the sane police that have killed and falsely accused so many in our 108 and 365) in the heat of an argument/disagreement rationally think about consequences and repercussions of our actions. Remember “If me min know” comes last, nit first.

  12. This situation highlights how emotional conflict can easily turn destructive. We must promote respect and self-control in relationships regardless of gender. No one should feel justified in damaging someone’s property or safety
