A planned protest against a controversial statue along All Saints Road has been canceled due to inclement weather conditions associated with the passage of Tropical Storm Jerry, organizers have confirmed.
The demonstration, organized by the faith-based group Christians United under the theme “The Statue Must Come Down,” was scheduled for Saturday, October 11, outside Glorious Hope Ministries on All Saints Road.
However, in a notice issued late Thursday, the group said the decision was made out of concern for public safety.
The protest had drawn attention after organizers described the statue as inconsistent with biblical teachings, referencing Exodus 20:4–5 and Hosea 4:6.

Canceled forever I hope. Bunch of stupid people.
What weather? They Chicken out that’s all
Mother Nature said ‘not today.’ Maybe everyone needed a break to rethink the approach.
The weather may have stopped the protest today, but it won’t stop people from speaking their minds. The issue still stands.
Once Thalia Parker in something you know is darkness. Thinking she have light and she’s just seeking attention and trying to remain relevant.
The weather stops the ‘work of the church”?
But airport open…smh
