A three-year-old case involving a confrontation at a popular early-morning event has concluded with a guilty plea and a substantial financial penalty for the attacker.

Annalee Jeffrey more commonly known as ‘Lace Doctor’ admitted to inflicting grievous bodily harm during an appearance before Justice Stanley John at the High Court on Thursday, October 16th, 2025.

Justice John ordered Jeffrey to compensate her victim with $20,000, to be paid in four monthly installments of $5,000 starting October 31st and ending January 31st, 2026. Missing any payment will land Jeffrey in His Majesty’s Prison for one year.

Additionally, she’s been placed under a two-year bond, and violating its conditions carries another year behind bars.

The criminal charge arose from events at the Sunrise Breakfast Fete in Willikies on June 6th, 2022.

Jeffrey, then a 29-year-old Jamaican national, allegedly attacked a woman she believed was romantically involved with her husband.

The victim was working alongside Jeffrey’s husband at a food booth, ladling goat water from a large pot positioned over an open flame.

It is said that Jeffrey yanked the woman’s hair from behind, pulling her down. As she fell, the pot toppled, sending scalding goat water across both women.

The victim suffered surface burns to her face and hand, while Jeffrey’s hand was also burned in the incident.

  2. She will learn now to leave people alone. Why didn’t she attack her husband instead? None of this would have happened if her husband didn’t allow the other woman in, but look who she attack. She should have been paying $200k instead.
