The Ministry of Education has announced the top three performers in the June 2025 Caribbean Secondary Education Certificate (CSEC) Examinations, administered by the Caribbean Examinations Council (CXC).

Director of Education Clare Browne revealed that Kaylei John-Baptiste of the Baptist Academy of Antigua emerged as the top CSEC student. John-Baptiste wrote 20 subjects, earning 18 Grade Ones, one Grade Two, and one Grade Three.

In second place is Kha-lique Harris of Saint Joseph’s Academy, who sat 22 subjects, achieving 17 Grade Ones, four Grade Twos, and one Grade Three.

Browne congratulated the students, their parents, and their schools for their dedication and support, which she said played a key role in the students’ success. She also noted that the top CSEC student is determined by the number of Grade Ones achieved.

These students have demonstrated exceptional commitment and perseverance. Their achievements reflect not only their own hard work but also the guidance and encouragement provided by their families and teachers, Browne said.

The announcement highlights the continued excellence of students across Antigua and Barbuda in regional examinations and celebrates the country’s academic talent.
