The Ministry of Tourism will once again spread goodwill across Antigua and Barbuda through its annual Tourism Charity Day, a highlight of Tourism Week 2025 celebrated under the theme “Our People, Our Culture, Our Environment, In Full Thrive.”
This year’s effort will focus on supporting four key institutions that care for some of the nation’s most vulnerable citizens, the Adele School, Clareview Psychiatric Hospital, Fiennes Institute, and the Care Project.
Through food donations and contributions from tourism partners, the initiative aims to show that tourism’s true value goes beyond economic gains, it’s also about compassion and community care.
The Ministry is inviting tourism stakeholders and corporate partners to join in this act of giving. Supporters will receive recognition across media platforms and Tourism Week promotions for their contributions.
Last year’s Charity Day was praised as a major success, thanks to the generosity of sponsors including West Indies Oil Company, Mega Distributors, Chase Distributors, Epicurean, and Cool & Smooth.
Businesses wishing to participate this year can contact Margo Ryan or Kessa Stevens-Lake at the Ministry of Tourism at 468-4082 or 468-4033.
