Student Wounding Incidents Under Police Investigation

Police are currently investigating two separate incidents involving student injuries. Around 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, altercations erupted among groups of students on High Street. In the first incident, a 16-year-old male student reported being assaulted by a group of approximately six other students while walking with friends, resulting in injuries to his left arm and temple.

In a different occurrence, a 17-year-old male student was attacked by another group of students in the same vicinity, leading to a wound on his right arm. Both individuals received treatment for non-life-threatening injuries, and investigations are still ongoing.

The Police Administration has expressed deep concern over the increasing violence among students, urging parents, guardians, and the broader community to take a more active role in guiding and supervising young people.

The public is encouraged to assist law enforcement in addressing this escalating issue and to report any behavior that could potentially lead to violence.
