Man dies after a collision with an animal on Friars Hill Road

A man has died following a vehicular accident in the early hours of Friday along Friar’s Hill Road.

According to preliminary reports, the driver’s car came into contact with an animal on the roadway, causing him to lose control of the vehicle. Emergency services were called to the scene, but the man succumbed to his injuries.

Authorities have not yet released the victim’s identity as investigations continue. Police are working to determine the full circumstances surrounding the crash and whether any additional factors contributed to the fatal outcome.

Motorists are being urged to exercise caution, particularly during early-morning hours when visibility is low and animals may wander onto the roadways.

  4. Id the owners and deal with this promptly. There are a number of cows and goats roaming this road night and day. Animal control and prosecution sadly lacking on FHR.
