Nurses at the NICU and Pediatric Department received an unexpected boost of holiday cheer this week, thanks to a thoughtful gesture from businessman Mickey Josiah.
Josiah surprised the hardworking teams with hot lunches, offering a moment of comfort during one of their busiest seasons. Staff said the delivery came without fanfare, just a heartfelt reminder that their work does not go unnoticed.
He has also pledged more treats throughout December, continuing the spirit of giving as the festive season unfolds.
Hospital officials expressed gratitude for the gesture, noting that simple acts of kindness can have a powerful impact.
“Moments like these remind us that community isn’t just a word, it’s support in action,” one nurse shared.

This is the kind of kindness we need more of. Those NICU and pediatric nurses work nonstop, beautiful gesture.
Acts like this remind us that community support doesn’t have to be big or flashy to make a real difference.
hmmmmmm ok
So you give nurses two plates of food and you on media. lol pathetic
A simple act of kindness can change the atmosphere in a place where people are often worried or tired.
Not everything needs publicity
What embarassment is that nuh
