Video Sparks Safety Concerns After Vehicle Stolen Using Suspected Duplicate Key

A video circulating rapidly across social media has raised fresh concerns about public safety and vehicle security in Antigua and Barbuda after a man was seen stealing a parked vehicle using what appears to be a duplicate key.

The footage shows the man walking up to the vehicle and unlocking it effortlessly before getting inside and driving away.

The apparent use of a key has alarmed residents, many of whom say the incident points to a worrying trend of increasingly sophisticated vehicle thefts.

The video has prompted widespread discussion online, with users questioning how the individual obtained access to a key and calling for heightened vigilance among vehicle owners. Some have urged drivers to reprogram their keys, invest in additional anti-theft devices, and pay closer attention to where they park their vehicles.

Authorities have not yet released an official statement on the incident, but the footage has intensified calls for law enforcement to investigate the method used and reassure the public about ongoing security measures.

The video continues to circulate as residents await further details.
