The Antigua and Barbuda Workers’ Union (ABWU) is celebrating a significant milestone as its President, Bro. Kem Riley, has been elected 3rd Vice President of the Caribbean Congress of Labour (CCL).

Riley secured the regional leadership post during the CCL’s 22nd Triennial Delegates Conference, held this week in Trinidad and Tobago. He is attending the conference alongside ABWU representatives Joshua Pigott and Chenise Lewis.

The gathering, hosted under the theme “One Caribbean, One Voice: Advancing Workers’ Rights through Governance and Solidarity”, brings together labour leaders from across the region to discuss strategies for strengthening worker protections and deepening regional cooperation.

Riley’s election marks a proud moment for the ABWU, reinforcing Antigua and Barbuda’s voice and influence within the Caribbean labour movement.
