Single-Lane Traffic Continues on Key Highways During Ongoing Repairs

Motorists are being advised to expect delays on Anchorage Road, Sir Sydney Walling Highway, and Valley Road North as single-lane traffic remains in place to facilitate major road rehabilitation works.

On Anchorage Road, sidewalk and drainage upgrades continue near Brydens, starting daily at 8 a.m. Similar start times apply to the Sir Sydney Walling Highway, where asphalt and junction repairs are ongoing from Pares Village westwards.

Work on Valley Road North, including asphalt repairs near Jennings Clinic and drainage improvements near Sugar Ridge, will begin on Wednesday, December 10, 2025.

Flag persons will guide traffic, and drivers are urged to proceed with caution due to heavy equipment in the area. All businesses remain open. The works form part of the Government’s Second Road Infrastructure Rehabilitation Project.
