Hermitage Bay has secured a spot on Condé Nast Traveler’s 2026 Gold List, joining an elite collection of the world’s finest hotels and resorts.

Hermitage Bay has been named among the top properties globally in the publication’s 32nd annual awards, which recognize excellence in service, architecture, cuisine, and guest experiences.

The adults-only resort showcases 30 villa suites nestled on a verdant hillside, each featuring private infinity pools and mahogany-trimmed interiors. Guests enjoy direct access to a white-sand beach complete with a palm-thatched bar.

The all-inclusive property has gained particular acclaim for its culinary offerings, including signature dishes like tarragon lobster. Each evening, the resort hosts a sunset and sushi cocktail hour where Nobu-trained chefs prepare fresh tuna, snapper, and mahi-mahi.

In 2024, Daniel Shamoon, co-owner of Luxury Hotel Partners, acquired Hermitage Bay. His company also manages Spain’s renowned Marbella Club and several Nobu hotels worldwide. Plans are underway to launch a Nobu hotel on Barbuda in 2026.

The Gold List, curated by Condé Nast Traveler editors worldwide, also recognized several other Caribbean properties this year. Coral Sands Inn and Cottages on Harbour Island in the Bahamas earned distinction for its pink sand beach and newly redesigned interiors featuring seashell accents and canopy beds with wildflower prints.
