Family members and volunteers have intensified efforts to locate Zakeem Nicholas, who has been reported missing at sea.

Nicholas was last seen yesterday Friday 13th, though relatives say the precise time and circumstances of his disappearance remain unclear. Since then, loved ones have organised a grassroots search operation, appealing to the public for immediate assistance as concerns for his safety continue to mount.

On Friday, family members circulated a public notice urging anyone with boats, jet skis, drones or search lights to join the search effort. “Every minute costs,” the appeal stated, reflecting the urgency and emotional strain felt by those closest to him.

The call for help has gained traction on social media, with community members sharing posts widely in hopes of generating leads or sightings that could assist search teams. Supporters say the response has demonstrated a strong sense of solidarity as the island rallies behind the family.

Relatives are asking anyone who may have seen Nicholas or who has information that could aid in locating him to come forward without delay. Sonya can be contacted at 788-7925, while his father, Stafford Nicholas, is available at 724-0934.

Up to press time, there has been no official statement detailing the circumstances surrounding the disappearance. Search efforts are ongoing as family and volunteers remain hopeful for his safe return.
