Prime Minister Gaston Browne has announced that the Booby Alley housing development could begin to deliver 150 condominium units to residents of the Point area by August of this year.
Browne, speaking on his weekly Browne and Browne Show, said the units would be made available following an approximately 60-day period after completion in May or June to install plants and basic amenities.

He encouraged ground-floor residents in particular to maintain clean surroundings and plant additional greenery around the buildings.
“On about three and a half acres of land, you had a hundred and something chattel properties, some of them without toilet facilities,” Browne said.
The Prime Minister recalled the project had faced resistance during its early stages, noting confrontation with residents who were sceptical the development would materialise.
“I said to them that I understood their anxiety at the time. However, what we’re doing, we’re bringing relief to them, better living conditions,” he said, adding that those same residents had since witnessed the transformation firsthand.
Beyond Booby Alley, Browne outlined a series of additional development projects either underway or nearing completion.
He said the Global Ports cruise upland facility on Lower Newgate Street, which will include retail shops, amenities and one of the island’s largest pools, would be completed within months.
In Barbuda, Brown said the Peace, Love and Happiness project had seen approximately one billion US dollars in investment, while the Robert De Niro hotel was on track to complete its first phase by year-end and receive occupants in the first quarter of next year.
On road infrastructure, Brown confirmed that the Public Works Department would begin resurfacing All Saints Road by Monday, after a Canadian firm indicated it could not mobilise for another two months.
He said public works would start from Townhouse heading south and that the government had not yet drawn on a $100 million allocation for road works.
