Antigua and Barbuda has reason to celebrate as one of its own has earned a spot among the Caribbean’s best. DJ Quest, a DJ, producer and event promoter, has been nominated for the 2026 Caribbean Music Awards in the category of Male – International DJ of the Year.

The nomination places the Antiguan selector among some of the region’s most recognized names in the DJ world, including Walshy Fire, DJ Puffy, Bobby Konders and Private Ryan, making it a highly competitive category.

DJ Quest was named DJ of the Year at the Antigua & Barbuda National Music Awards this year.

The Caribbean Music Awards recognizes creatives and entertainers who made a significant impact across genres including Soca, Reggae, Dancehall, Konpa, Latin, Calypso and more throughout 2025.

For DJ Quest, the nod is a testament to his growing regional and international footprint and the impact he has made on Caribbean music culture both at home and abroad.

Antiguans and Barbudans are now being urged to show up for their own and cast their votes in the preliminary voting round. Voters can select up to three nominees per category, and all responses are confidential.
