The police are reaching out to the community for help in identifying and capturing the suspects involved in a shooting that left four young men with gunshot wounds.

Incident Details

  • Initial reports indicate that around 12:15 a.m. on Sunday, April 5, four males aged between 17 and 20 were walking along Corn Alley when an unidentified assailant fired a weapon in their direction.

  • Three victims, all aged 17, incurred injuries to their feet and thighs, while the oldest victim suffered an injury to his left hand.

  • The injured individuals were promptly transported to the Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre by police officers and Emergency Medical Services personnel.

Current Condition

Medical officials have confirmed that all four victims are in stable condition and are receiving ongoing medical treatment.

Suspects and Investigation

  • The suspects reportedly fled the scene in a white Toyota Belta motor vehicle.

  • Investigations into the matter are still active.

The police are encouraging anyone who may have witnessed the incident or possesses information regarding the suspects or the vehicle to reach out to the Criminal Investigations Department at 462-3913 or contact the anonymous Crimestoppers hotline at 800-TIPS (8477).

The Police Administration strongly denounces this bold act of violence and urges the public to come forward with any information that could aid in bringing those responsible to justice.
