Leader of the United Progressive Party (UPP), Jamal Pringle, has been officially nominated as the party’s candidate for the All Saints East and St Luke constituency.
Speaking with reporters following his nomination, Pringle expressed confidence that he will be re-elected, pointing to the constituency’s longstanding support for the UPP.
He described the seat as a stronghold for the party and said he remains optimistic about securing another victory at the polls.
Pringle will face a challenge from the Antigua and Barbuda Labour Party (ABLP) candidate, Lamin Newton, in what is expected to be a closely watched contest.

I wonder how he plans to explain his plan to eliminate import tax on personal use vehicles. More cars on the road just mean more traffic, more congestion in the city, faster road deterioration and less government revenue which he has to make up with a tax increase somewhere.
This is a very ambitious but poverty triggering proposal. What i mean is that if you ever do that and all the stuff you mentioned, the country will be broker for it
Watch that seat. Yall neever see mr lose that. Dont ever be to confident
Might be the only seat UPP win
Well thats a sure seat. People love that black panther whether he work or not
That’s my panther
That’s one seat I believe will remain with the UPP
At the end of the day may the best man win
