CIBC Caribbean is set to host a one-stop Mortgage Fair this Saturday, April 18, offering prospective homeowners a chance to access financing, expert advice, and key services all in one place.
The event will take place at the Caribbean Cinemas parking lot on Friars Hill Road from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., bringing together a wide range of professionals involved in the homeownership process.
According to Mali Newton, Manager of the Loans and Mortgage Centre, the fair is designed as a multi-stakeholder initiative, featuring attorneys, engineers, realtors, developers, and suppliers of furniture, hardware, and construction materials.
Newton said the goal is to simplify what can often be an overwhelming process for first-time buyers.
“Building your own home is a major life decision which can be very stressful if you do not understand the entire process. This Mortgage Fair is designed to answer questions and to assist persons to understand the process,” he explained.
Now in its second year, the initiative aims to provide a convenient platform where individuals can explore financing options, connect with industry professionals, and gain a clearer understanding of the steps involved in purchasing or building a home.
CIBC Caribbean, which operates across 10 regional markets with approximately 2,700 employees, says it remains committed to supporting customers through accessible and innovative financial solutions.

This is actually a very useful initiative. Buying or building a home can be very confusing, especially for first-time buyers, so having everyone in one place makes the process much easier to understand.
