Downed utility pole halts traffic on Grays Farm Main Road in Five Islands Area

Scores of vehicles are backed up with no access to and from the Five Islands area after a truck reportedly lost control and knocked down a utility pole.

The pole and wires are now across the road, blocking all movement.

Police and APUA are on the scene.

Traffic has come to a halt due to downed utility pole

Clearing the road may take some time, and many motorists have turned off their engines while they wait.

  1. Pole last night, pole today. APUA is under attack! I hope the drive of the truck is okay and this wouldn’t cause much disruption, I know people are frustrated that they can’t get home right now
