Tristan Armstrong Faces Multiple Charges Following Store Burglary

A 34-year-old man from Tyrells has been charged in connection with a break-in at a business on Lower All Saints Road that resulted in the theft of several electronic items and tools.

Police identified the accused as Tristan Armstrong, who has been charged with Breaking and Entering and Larceny, Malicious Damage, Resisting Arrest, and Escaping Lawful Custody.

The charges arise from an incident on May 29, when officers responded to reports of a break-in in progress at Turki and Son Store.

According to police, several items were stolen during the incident, including eleven 43-inch JVC televisions, one 32-inch Royal television, two power drills, a vacuum cleaner, and a tool kit.

Investigators later recovered all of the stolen property.

Police have thanked members of the public for their assistance during the investigation, noting that community cooperation played a key role in the matter.

Law enforcement officials are also encouraging business owners to strengthen security measures by installing adequate lighting, surveillance cameras, and other crime prevention systems to help deter criminal activity.

Armstrong is expected to appear before the court today to answer the charges.

Anyone with information related to criminal activity is encouraged to contact the Criminal Investigations Department at 462-3913 or 462-3914, or anonymously call Crime Stoppers at 800-TIPS (8477).

  1. He nar stop bad. I have a court case currently against him. And before 1 case can done ..he rack up about 6 more I know about. Justice ⚖️ system in ANU too slow. This guy should have been locked away from my armed robbery case since 2001 and he wouldn’t have been out here committing all these other crimes terrorizing ppl.

  2. Good job by the police in recovering everything. Hope this sends a strong message to anyone thinking about targeting businesses. But I have a question. When will the police put the same energy into solving the issues with the police officer who killed that young boy from Bolans
