
Senator Shaquan O’Neil Donates Supplies and Educational Equipment to Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre
Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre (SLBMC) has received a donation of essential supplies and educational equipment from Senator Shaquan O’Neil, in a gesture aimed at supporting patient care and strengthening the hospital’s services.
The donation included hygiene and cleaning supplies, along with display screens that will be used throughout the hospital for public education initiatives and staff training.
During a brief presentation ceremony, Senator O’Neil reaffirmed his commitment to supporting both the nation’s primary healthcare institution and the wider community, pledging to continue assisting the hospital where possible.
Minister of Health, Wellness, the Environment and Civic Affairs, Hon. Michael Joseph, welcomed the contribution and expressed his appreciation to the senator for his continued generosity and community-minded leadership.
SLBMC’s Medical Director also thanked Senator O’Neil for the timely donation, noting that as the hospital continues to enhance its services and improve the patient experience, partnerships with corporate citizens and community leaders remain invaluable.
Hospital officials said the donated items will make a meaningful contribution to patient care, staff development and public education efforts across the institution.
