
Assistant Commissioner of Police Desmond Dinard
Assistant Commissioner of Police Desmond Dinard has been awarded the King’s Police Medal (KPM), one of the highest honours bestowed upon police officers in recognition of distinguished service.
The Royal Police Force of Antigua and Barbuda announced the award, describing it as a fitting tribute to Dinard’s decades of dedicated service, exemplary leadership and contributions to policing both locally and across the region.
In a congratulatory message, the Police Force said the honour recognises Dinard’s unwavering commitment to law enforcement and his significant role in strengthening public safety and national security.
Officials also commended the Assistant Commissioner for his professionalism and leadership throughout his career, noting that his service has positively impacted policing in Antigua and Barbuda as well as the wider Caribbean.
“The Royal Police Force of Antigua and Barbuda extends heartfelt congratulations to Assistant Commissioner of Police Mr. Desmond Dinard, KPM, on being awarded the King’s Police Medal,” the statement said.
