Tian Winter
Entertainer Tian Winter has stepped in to replace Sir Clarence “Oungku” Edwards for the highly anticipated FACE OFF Carnival event following news of the veteran performer’s ongoing health concerns.
Promoters Flames and FACE OFF confirmed that the show will proceed as scheduled despite Oungku’s absence, stressing that the artist’s health and well-being remain their foremost priority.
According to the organizers, they were informed on Wednesday of Sir Oungku’s medical situation, which affected the advertised performances by Burning Flames, Red Hot Flames and FACE OFF.
In a statement, the promoters expressed support for the veteran musician and wished him a full and speedy recovery.
“To everyone asking about FACE OFF, rest assured, the show goes on,” the statement said.
With Oungku unable to perform, Tian Winter has accepted the challenge of taking the stage against Dominica’s Triple K International in what organizers say will still be one of the marquee events of the Carnival season.
Winter said he was honoured to represent Antigua and Barbuda while paying tribute to the iconic performer.
“I, Tian Winter, will proudly step onto the stage and accept the challenge to battle Dominica’s finest, Triple K,” he said.
The show will also feature several of Antigua’s top musical acts as organizers seek to rally support for Team Antigua while recognizing Sir Oungku’s contribution to the country’s music industry.
Promoters are encouraging the public to come out in large numbers, support the local performers and help make the event a memorable celebration of Antiguan music despite the unexpected change in the lineup.

I hope he do justice.
Wishing Tian Winter all the best and hoping for an exciting performance at the Face-Off Carnival show.
