VIDEO: Public’s Help Sought to Identify Individual After Attempted Break-In at Nut Grove Home
The public’s help is being sought to identify an individual captured on surveillance video following an alleged attempted break-in at a home in the Nut Grove area.
The incident reportedly occurred at about 10:10 a.m. on Tuesday, September 8, while the homeowner was away from the property.
Video from the residence shows an individual wearing a bright red hooded top and dark-coloured pants on the premises.
According to the homeowner, a rear security camera was disconnected during the incident and later found in nearby bushes. Police assisted the resident in retrieving the camera.
The homeowner said this is the second attempted break-in at the residence this year and expressed frustration over having to constantly worry about the safety of the property while at work.
“It’s very disheartening not being able to attend work without having to worry if your property is safe,” the resident said.
Anyone who recognises the individual seen in the video or has information that could assist is encouraged to contact the police.
