
Dwayne Edwards has been appointed to the Board of Directors of the Antigua and Barbuda Social Security Scheme with immediate effect.
Edwards will serve as the Government’s representative, completing the composition of the board responsible for providing policy direction and oversight of the Scheme.
The board is chaired by Joy Dublin-Baptiste and includes Sherri-Ann Brazier, representing the Antigua and Barbuda Employers’ Federation; Martin Cave, representing the Antigua and Barbuda Chamber of Commerce and Industry; and Alrick Daniel of the Antigua Trades and Labour Union, representing employees.
Social Security Director David Mathias also serves as an ex-officio member because of his responsibility for the Scheme’s day-to-day administration.
A deputy chairperson and secretary have not yet been appointed.
