Javia Peters, Saquami Christian Charged Over Villa Shooting and Ottos Robberies
Police have jointly charged two men in connection with a shooting in Villa and two separate armed robberies in Ottos on September 27.

Javia Peters of Potters and Saquami Christian of Tindale Road are facing multiple charges following investigations into a pre-dawn shooting in Villa and two robberies reported later that day in Ottos.
The two were jointly charged with shooting with intent to murder and using a firearm in furtherance of an offence in connection with the shooting of 47-year-old Francis Dennis of Villa.
Dennis was shot at about 3:40 a.m. on Sunday, September 27, on Gordon Street, Villa. He was taken to the Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre for treatment.
Peters and Christian are also jointly charged over two separate robberies on Baxter Street, Ottos, on the same day.
In the first incident, the pair allegedly robbed a woman of a cellular phone, SIM cards, a handbag, jewellery, cash and other personal belongings valued at approximately EC$1,285. They face charges of using a firearm in furtherance of an offence and robbery in connection with that incident.
They are also accused of robbing another woman of a cellular phone, SIM card and cash, with the items valued at approximately EC$880.
Both men are expected to appear before the court today, Wednesday, September 30, to answer to the charges.
Police are continuing to appeal to members of the public with information about criminal activity to contact the Criminal Investigations Department at 462-3913 or 462-3914, Crime Stoppers at 800-TIPS (8477), or the nearest police station.
