Albert Wade to Return as Prison Superintendent
The Deputy Commissioner of Police previously led the prison from 2014 to 2019 and brings more than 40 years of security experience.
Deputy Commissioner of Police Albert Wade will return as Prison Superintendent following the retirement of Lt. Col. Trevor Pennyfeather, Cabinet has announced.
Wade brings more than 40 years of service in the security forces to the position. He has been serving as the officer in charge of Operations within the Royal Police Force of Antigua and Barbuda.
The appointment marks his return to a role he held from 2014 to 2019, when he served as Superintendent of the institution then known as Her Majesty’s Prison.
He will succeed Pennyfeather, who is proceeding on retirement.

Yes put Mr. Wade back in his position. The prison system has crumbled tremendously in his absence. A man that does the job without being an A**Hole to inmates while maintaining order! This is a gd start keep the sensible change coming
