Chief Magistrate Addresses Police Officers on Professionalism and Public Service
Constable Clinton Williams recognised as an Outstanding Court Orderly following a session with court orderlies and prosecutors.
Chief Magistrate Ngaio Emanuel met with police court orderlies and prosecutors at the St. John’s Magistrate’s Court on Thursday, October 1, for a session aimed at strengthening professionalism and the quality of service provided to the public.
The presentation covered the execution of daily duties, appropriate interactions with members of the public and the handling of sensitive matters before the court.
According to a statement from the Royal Police Force of Antigua and Barbuda, officers welcomed the guidance and expressed a commitment to applying it in their work.
At the conclusion of the session, Constable Clinton Williams was recognised as an Outstanding Court Orderly for his work ethic, professionalism, dedication and commitment to duty.
The Police Administration thanked Emanuel for engaging with the officers and for her continued guidance and support.
It also highlighted the importance of collaboration between the Police Force and the Magistracy, noting that ongoing professional development and mutual support help strengthen the administration of justice and improve public service.
