Woman, 62, Hospitalised After Knife Attack at Browne’s Avenue Home
The woman suffered wounds to her arm and face after a man reportedly forced his way into her home early Thursday.
A 62-year-old woman is receiving hospital treatment after being attacked by a knife-wielding assailant at her home in Browne’s Avenue early Thursday morning.
The woman told investigators she was at home around 5:50 a.m. when a man barged inside and attacked her.
She sustained several stab wounds to her left arm and at least one wound to her face while attempting to shield herself from the blows.
The woman raised an alarm, prompting the assailant to flee on foot.
It remains unclear whether any valuables were taken from the property.
