Deshonte Charles and Nathaniel Benjamin Remanded Over Bendals Armed Robbery
Deshonte Charles and Nathaniel Benjamin have been remanded to His Majesty’s Prison over allegations that a Bendals woman was held at gunpoint and robbed of cash, jewellery and personal belongings.

Deshonte Charles of Ebenezer and Nathaniel Benjamin of Golden Grove Extension were remanded to His Majesty’s Prison after appearing before Senior Magistrate Thomas in the St. John’s Magistrate’s Court on Friday, October 2.
The men are accused of carrying out an armed robbery in Bendals on Thursday, September 24.
According to reports, the female victim was confronted and held at gunpoint before being robbed of jewellery and a brown leather purse.
The purse reportedly contained EC$1,200 in cash, debit cards and several personal identification cards.
Following the robbery, the assailants reportedly fled the area in a white motor car travelling west.
Police investigations into the incident subsequently led to the arrests of Charles and Benjamin and charges being brought against them.
Both men were ordered remanded to His Majesty’s Prison until December 7, 2026, when they are expected to return to court.
The allegations against the two men have not been proven in court.
