Hopeful Hearts Foundation and Antigua and Barbuda Scout Association Join Forces to Support Sickle Cell Unit
Hopeful Hearts Foundation and Antigua and Barbuda Scout Association unite to support the Sickle Cell Unit while promoting youth volunteerism and community service.
The Hopeful Hearts Foundation, in collaboration with the Antigua and Barbuda Scout Association, has demonstrated its commitment to community service through a donation of essential supplies to the Sickle Cell Unit.
The initiative brought together young volunteers and representatives of both organisations in a collective effort to support individuals living with sickle cell disease and contribute to their overall well-being.
The donation included a variety of essential items intended to assist the unit in providing care and support to those who rely on its services.
Kristina Louisa, Founder and CEO of the Hopeful Hearts Foundation and Country Leader for Good Deeds Day Antigua and Barbuda, highlighted the importance of collaboration and youth involvement in addressing the needs of vulnerable communities.
The initiative also reflects the shared commitment of the Hopeful Hearts Foundation and the Antigua and Barbuda Scout Association to fostering a culture of compassion, volunteerism and social responsibility among young people.
As part of the initiative, a commemorative badge was also presented, symbolising the shared commitment to service, compassion and community engagement. The badge serves as a reminder of the importance of collaboration and the role that individuals and organisations can play in creating meaningful change.
As Antigua and Barbuda prepares for the official launch of Good Deeds Day on October 9, 2026, this collaboration serves as an example of how organisations can unite to create meaningful and lasting change.
Through continued partnerships and community-driven initiatives, the Hopeful Hearts Foundation remains dedicated to empowering young people, supporting vulnerable populations and inspiring a spirit of service throughout Antigua and Barbuda.
