Antigua and Barbuda’s Minister of Tourism joined emerging tourism professionals at the SOTIC Future Leaders Forum, sharing insights on leadership and building meaningful careers in the Caribbean’s tourism industry.
The minister participated in a discussion titled “From the Classroom to the Caribbean: Conversations with Tourism Leaders,” which brought young people into conversation with those helping to shape the sector.
The session explored opportunities within regional tourism and the role of the next generation in guiding the industry’s development.
As Caribbean tourism evolves, the forum highlighted the importance of giving young people opportunities to learn from experienced professionals, contribute their ideas and prepare for leadership roles.
The discussions placed youth development at the centre of efforts to build a stronger, more innovative and resilient tourism industry across the region.
