Public Asked to Help Identify Man Following Reported Freezer Theft at Herberts Church
A photograph circulating on social media has prompted an appeal for information following the reported disappearance of a freezer from a church in Herberts.

A public appeal has been launched to help identify a man photographed carrying a freezer following reports that the appliance was stolen from a church in Herberts last week.
The appeal, which has been circulating on Facebook, includes a photograph of a man carrying what appears to be a white chest freezer outside a yellow building.
The post has drawn attention to the photograph, with members of the public being asked to assist in establishing the identity of the individual pictured.
“Need help to identify this person, who stole a freezer from a church in Herberts last week,” the post reads.
However, the name of the church was not disclosed, and no additional information was provided about the circumstances surrounding the reported theft.
It is also unclear when the photograph was taken, whether the individual pictured has been contacted about the allegation, or whether a formal complaint has been lodged with the police.
The appeal has brought attention to the reported incident, with those circulating the photograph hoping that someone familiar with the individual or the circumstances will come forward with information.
Churches often depend on donations and contributions from their congregations to acquire equipment and maintain their facilities, making the loss of such items a potential financial setback.
The public is being encouraged to share any credible information with the relevant authorities rather than confront the individual pictured.
At the time of publication, Antigua.News had not independently verified the theft allegation or established whether police had launched an investigation.
