Antigua-Filmed Love Link Caribbean Reaches Jamaican TV After 2.3 Million Digital Views
The reality dating series is expanding its regional audience while showcasing Antigua and Barbuda to potential visitors.
Love Link Caribbean, a reality dating series filmed in Antigua and Barbuda, has made its Jamaican television debut after recording more than 2.3 million digital views since its September 30 premiere, according to its producers.
The series launched on CVM TV on Monday, October 26, bringing its cast of ten singles from seven Caribbean countries to a wider regional audience.
Combining romance, relationships and cultural experiences, the production features Antigua and Barbuda as the backdrop to the contestants’ search for connections. Its leading digital viewing markets include the United States, United Kingdom, Jamaica and Trinidad and Tobago.
For the Antigua and Barbuda Tourism Authority (ABTA), which serves as an executive producer, the Jamaican broadcast creates another avenue to promote the destination in one of its top three Caribbean visitor source markets.
Shermain Jeremy, ABTA’s Director of Tourism for the Caribbean and Latin America, said the production illustrates how entertainment can support destination marketing while giving Caribbean audiences stories they can relate to.
“Love Link Caribbean demonstrates the exciting possibilities when tourism, entertainment and Caribbean creativity come together,” Jeremy said.
She said the series allows viewers to recognise their own cultures and experiences on screen while discovering Antigua and Barbuda through the contestants’ activities and interactions.
Jeremy added that the move to Jamaican television offers an opportunity to connect with prospective visitors and encourage them to experience the destination firsthand.
Executive producers Donald and Jamila Watkins described the television debut and digital viewing figures as significant milestones for the production. They said the series was created to celebrate Caribbean personalities, cultures and relationships, while demonstrating the appeal of regional stories beyond the Caribbean.
CVM TV introduced the programme with a catch-up broadcast of its first two episodes. Episodes three and four are scheduled for Thursday, October 29, with regular weekly broadcasts on Thursdays at 8 p.m.
The broadcaster is also supporting the series through appearances on its Sunrise morning programme, featuring producers, hosts and eliminated contestants.
New episodes will continue to premiere weekly on the official Love Link TV YouTube channel, allowing audiences outside Jamaica to follow the series.
According to the producers, discussions are also underway about possible broadcasts in other Caribbean markets.
For Antigua and Barbuda, the expansion provides further exposure through a production that places the destination’s scenery, culture and visitor experiences at the centre of its storytelling.

👏🏼👏🏼 I’m not surprised, it’s a good show also, a great exposure for Antigua and Barbuda! It’s always good to see local productions reaching a wider audience while showcasing our beautiful island to the rest of the Caribbean. This kind of exposure can also help boost tourism and create more opportunities for local talent.
