The officers, deployed through the Regional Security System (RSS), will serve for the duration of the gathering, assisting local law enforcement in maintaining a safe environment for visiting leaders, delegates, dignitaries and other participants.

The contingents include personnel from the Barbados Police Service, Commonwealth of Dominica Police Force, Royal Grenada Police Force, Guyana Police Force and Royal Saint Lucia Police Force.

Officers from the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force, Royal St. Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force, St. Vincent and the Grenadines Coast Guard Service and Royal Montserrat Police Service are also participating.

The swearing-in forms part of preparations to strengthen security capacity as Antigua and Barbuda welcomes the international gathering.

The RSS said the deployment reflects its longstanding commitment to regional security cooperation, operational readiness and mutual assistance. It also reaffirmed its support for coordinated security efforts and closer collaboration among Caribbean law enforcement agencies.
