Prakashcandra Lohar
A local business owner has been ordered to pay a total of $10,000 in fines and compensation following his conviction on two counts of indecent assault, according to a recent High Court ruling.
In a judgment delivered by Justice Ann Marie Smith, Prakashcandra Lohar was instructed to remit $8,000 in compensation to the victim by February 28, in addition to a $2,000 fine which has already been paid to the court.
The charges stem from an incident in February 2022 when Lohar offered a ride to a woman during inclement weather. Court records indicate that during this encounter, he engaged in inappropriate sexual conduct in the victim’s presence, leading to multiple charges of indecent assault.
The conviction was secured in 2024 following legal proceedings in the High Court.

Well well. is it only the small bussiness men? maybe the deal did not go through. But oh well, Ain’t all men the same??
I remembered that story. The woman said she was given a ride and this man assulted her..she sounded crazy but she wasn’t. Good she was brave enough to do what many women could not have.
