
Bahamian Prime Minister Philip Davis
A man arrested and charged for allegedly threatening to hill the Bahamian Prime Minister Philip Davis swears that he did not do the crime.
The 21-year-old man who has been identified as Isaac Roberts, has been remanded into custody until Thursday after he appeared in a magistrate’s court yesterday.
He made his initial appearance in the Magistrate’s Court of making the death threat on February 18. His bail hearing is set for Thursday.
This is not the only time that the prime minister has been threatened.
Just two weeks ago, a 58-year-old man was questioned for making similar death threats against Davis.
The police said on Saturday, that a man called Central Police Station and threatened to kill Prime Minister Davis.
On February 3, the Office of the Prime Minister also received two anonymous death threats over the phone in the span of 15 minutes.
