Disagreement Arises Over Machines at Cancer Centre”

You can now listen to Antigua News articles!

Government May Intervene to Expedite Reopening of Cancer Centre Eastern Caribbean

The machines at the Cancer Centre are currently causing a major obstacle as the new building owners strive to re-establish the facility and provide cancer care services to patients.

The Cabinet Notes highlighted that the machines are posing a significant challenge in the efforts to reopen the center for the benefit of cancer patients.

Due to the closure of the center, patients are now required to travel to Colombia and other locations for treatment.

The Cabinet is keen on reopening the center to provide essential cancer treatment to patients in Antigua and Barbuda and other OECS Countries.

The neglected equipment, which has not undergone maintenance for many years, is now considered obsolete as it has surpassed a decade in age.

Consequently, the new building owners are in the process of requesting the machine owner to remove the equipment from the premises.

However, this is presenting a challenge as it seems that the machine owners are requesting a substantial amount from the building owners.

Everything has to go bad at all times. The building is now yours why should you pay them to remove THEIR EQUIPMENTS from YOUR BUILDING.
