A&B SIGNS NEW ROADMAP OF COOPERATION WITH MOROCCO

Antigua and Barbuda and The Kingdom of Morocco are deepening their bilateral collaboration in key areas with the signing of a new Roadmap of Cooperation for the period 2024-2026. Foreign Affairs Minister, Hon. E.P. Chet Greene signed the pact with his Moroccan counterpart, Hon. Nasser Bourita in the North Affican country’s capital, Rabat this week.

The Road Map is set to yield support for the Centre of Excellence and Data Hub in Antigua and Barbuda which was one of the outcomes of the SIDS4 Conference. It will also open up more scholarship opportunities for Antiguans and Barbudans to study in Moroccan institutions, learning visits to Morocco for Antiguan and Barbudan officials and investment opportunities in priority sectors of interest for Antigua and Barbuda.

 

Minister Greene says he is delighted to “formalize a cooperation agreement that will deliver a variety of engagements, projects/programme in areas such as Education, Technical cooperation, Fertilizers and soil fertility, economic promotion and investment, culture and civil society partnerships.
