The Police Narcotics Department and Customs have made yet another drug seizure at the V.C. Bird International Airport.

On Wednesday, 18 December, both law enforcement agencies seized a black suitcase with 28 vacuum-sealed packages of Cannabis weighing 33. 4 pounds.

The substance is said to value $267, 200. The suitcase and contents were taken to the police station for further investigation.

On Tuesday, the police seized almost half of a million dollars worth of cannabis at the said port of entry, after 60 packages were discovered in a suitcase.

Investigations are still ongoing into that matter.

    So many interceptions, so few ( if any) arrests. The Force needs to be more carefully scrutinized!!!!

      Like wait for the pick up, let them collect it an follow them to where the operation is being organized that would lead them to the person in charge, arrest that person and stop the problem at the root.

    They are using the busy season to try to get these drugs into the country. Sad move. By now the custom officers are used to this strategy. Stop the nonesence
