Top cop appeals to political parties ahead of by-election

Police Commissioner Atlee Rodney

The by-election will take place on January 14 as registered voters within the constituency will cast their ballots for either the Antigua and Barbuda Labour Party’s (ABLP) Rawdon Turner or the United Progressive Party’s (UPP) George Whener.

Both men were duly nominated on December 31st and will be vying for the vacant seat which was previously held by MP Asot Michael for over 20 years before his untimely death last November.
