Another resident has been added to the centenarians living in Antigua and Barbuda list. Edna Parker-Chiddick turned 100 today.
Parker-Chiddick’s family and the Community Development and Citizens’ Engagement Division held a small gathering yesterday to mark the milestone.
Parker-Chiddick was born on August 3, 1923, and was the only child of Margaret Benjamin Simon and Thomas Parker of Ebenezer Village.
Parker-Chiddick has 13 children, a grandmother of 26, and great-grandmother of 28, and great-great-grandmother of one.
She was described as God-fearing, praying woman who has laboured faithfully in her Lord’s vineyard.
