The government of Antigua and Barbuda has discontinued a Tropical Storm Warning for the island as Fiona is expected to strengthen over the northern Caribbean
A hurricane watch has now been issued for Puerto Rico
The twin island nation was speared any major damages from the effects of Fiona.
The island is still experiencing rainfall which is expected to continue throughout the day.
There’s been no reports of severe flooding just yet but it may be too early to say
