By Makeida Antonio

Day two of Youth Future Leaders Opportunities Expo got underway at the Government House Sunday

The initiative to showcase various youth service organizations is being hosted by Governor General Sir Rodney Williams and Lady Sandra Williams.

Over 15 youth groups were showcased yesterday including the Antigua and Barbuda Girl Guides Association, Antigua and Barbuda Boy Scouts, Antigua and Barbuda Red Cross and Salability Antigua.

The Nolan Hue Foundation was also participating at the event as a part of its recruitment drive for its annual Youth Empowerment Retreat taking place from July 14-16.

This youth development organization is headed by CEO Regis Burton whose aim is to guide young professionals toward career advancement and the achievement of personal success.

Young people between the ages of 18-25 who are interested in the non-profit organization may apply before the May 18 deadline at nolanhue.com

Youth FLOE was designed to give youth-based organizations a platform to highlight and share how service programs offer positive opportunities to the nation’s youngsters.

Antigua and Barbuda remain a member of the Commonwealth as a constitutional monarchy.

2023 is being celebrated as the Commonwealth Year of the Youth. All member nations have been called to place focus on young people.
