Due to the threat of adverse weather conditions, the town hall meeting scheduled to update the community on the expansion of The UWI Five Islands Campus and the relocation of the Five Islands Primary School has been postponed.

The Ministry of Education, Sport, and Creative Industries, in partnership with The University of the West Indies Five Islands Campus, prioritizes the safety of all attendees and will reschedule the meeting once it is safe.

The event was initially scheduled for Thursday, October 19th, 2023, at 7:00 p.m., and will be rescheduled later

The new date for the town hall meeting will be announced as soon as it is confirmed, according to a statement from the MOE.
