Starting from 16th November, Silver Airways will launch a new air route from San Juan to Antigua, offering enhanced connectivity for travelers.
The flights will operate four times weekly, on Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Sundays. Departures from Puerto Rico will be at 5:05 p.m., and the arrival time at VC Bird International Airport in Antigua and Barbuda will be 6:35 p.m.
The return journey from Antigua and Barbuda is scheduled for 8 am, reaching Puerto Rico at 9:30 am.
The new route marks the revival of the connection between Antigua and Puerto Rico before the pandemic, which was lost due to the outbreak of the pandemic.
The Antigua and Barbuda Tourism Authority has partnered with Silver Airways to establish this new route, providing a more affordable connection for the people of Antigua and Barbuda to the US.
The flights will start from as low as US$99. Through Puerto Rico, Antigua and Barbuda will gain access to many connections to various destinations in the United States.
The Vice President of Commercial at Silver Airways, Paulo Mesnik, expressed excitement about this new route and the company’s long-term goal to expand and interconnect the Caribbean.
Silver Airways, headquartered in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, specializes in daily scheduled flights between critical gateways in the southeast US, Florida, and the Bahamas.
